comcast is fucktastic

First I call them at 8pm to break it off- I knew they were open at 8pm because I had called a while back at that time. Well, at least when they were called Adelphia. After pressing a series of numbes (English, account verification, cable services, remove service) I get a message that the office is closed that promptly hangs up on me after telling me to call during regular business hours. That made me wonder if I could actually talk to a human by pressing other numbers (English, account verification, cable services, add service) if I could get a human. Sure enough it worked.

So I tell the human that I want to cancel services and she gives me some bullshit about how I have to call some sort of 'cancellation specialist' during normal business hours. Sweet, I think to myself, if I want to order some pron about puckering barely legal virgin assholes I could call at anytime, but if I want to cancel service (perhaps to find some real puckering virgin assholes) I have to call during regular business hours.

Long story short, some Comcast maintenance guy is coming on Saturday sometime between 11am and 1pm to remove my cable box. Side note? They charge 14 bucks to take away the box.

Here's a company that deserves to pay an asshole tax.
